Applied Fundamentals Consulting is looking for candidates to serve as an Identity Management Technician for our customer at a SOF Command in Tampa, FL to support their growing Identity Management program.

Responsibilities of an Identity Management Technician are to gather, assemble, analyze and evaluate data on individuals or organizations and recommend ways to mitigate vulnerabilities and risks. Identify new operational security technology, techniques and best practices and give guidance to affect required operational goals and decisions. Advise on new data collection technology and trends and informs of impact to personnel and operations. Maintain awareness of new and emerging Personally Identifying Information (PII) collection tactics and advise on mitigation techniques. Assist in the preparation of documents such as IdM Guidance and Standard Operating Procedures. Contribute to senior briefing materials and participate in meetings and briefings related to identity courses of action and best practices. Liaise with various groups and institutions as necessary to gather requirements and assess progress with the IdM program. Assist in the development of IdM requirements, instruction plans, instruction, distance learning, learning assessments for the development of an IdM training program and to provide IdM instruction to various audiences.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience working in a SOF environment
  • Two or more years of operational analysis experience as well as reporting to include intelligence, identity, or threat analysts
  • Experience drafting reports, providing oral and written presentations on the subject matter
  • Must be able to articulate guidance to affect required operational goals and decisions
  • Must understand current technology, trends, developments, and risks related to personal and organizational identity management
  • Must understand data analytics, data mining principles and operational security practices
  • Working knowledge of analysis tools such as social media, open and closed source research tools, data aggregators, cyber security, identity data providers as well as identity threat data providers
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be comfortable working individually or as a team, and have the ability to adapt to changing and dynamic interpersonal and operational situations
  • Signature reduction experience preferred not required
  • Current TS/SCI required
  • Bachelor s degree preferred
  • Travel will be required on an infrequent basis
