Wells Fargo Payments, Virtual Solutions and Innovation

The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Its guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.

The Consumer Collections & Servicing (CCS) team is comprised of 2,300 team members responsible for all pre and post-charge-off debt collection, core servicing, credit bureau dispute resolution and reporting, and complaint management for Wells Fargo’s Card and Retail Services business, as well as the Student Loan, Overdraft DDA and Personal Lines and Loans products. This team focuses on working with customers to resolve past due balances with solutions focused on helping our customers succeed financially.

The Role

This Business Initiatives Consultant 3 will serve as  program manager and business accountability lead (BAL) as required by the Enterprise Complaints Management Office policy. Responsibilities of the BAL include being an active participant in the Complaint Program, driving business unit resource assignment and sponsoring implementation planning and execution in alignment with the ECMO roadmap. They will serve as the single point of contact for CCS project status and for communications with the ECMO. Responsibilities of this program manager also include ownership of CCS disaster recovery including strategic planning, playbook maintenance addressing procedures, controls and reporting requirements and ensuring consistency of procedures and overall response across CCS.

Additionally, this role will have responsibility for:

  • Representation of CCS in Enterprise disaster recovery initiatives.
  • Collaborating with team members responsible for development, maintenance, testing exercises and implementation of CCS Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
  • Partnering with CCS Run and Change organization and the following to sponsor and deliver on EPMO and Disaster related initiatives: Business processes, Procedures, Technology, Training, Analytics & Reporting, Third Party Service Providers, Self-Assurance Activities and Issues & Escalations


Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
