Responsible for monitoring the current environment and developing comprehensive stakeholder strategies across various influencer groups, the team includes:  Corporate Communications, Government Relations & Public Policy, Investor Relations, Strategic Philanthropy, and Community Relations.
Wells Fargo’s International Stakeholder Relations team is seeking an experienced communications professional to play a central role in providing internal communications consulting, strategy planning and execution for International HR projects and initiatives. The Communications Advisor will manage complex communication projects with international scope, requiring critical thinking and strategic consideration for Human Resource, manager, and team member audiences across business lines and enterprise support groups in international locations outside of the U.S.
The role will have an emphasis on communicating internally about Wells Fargo’s Total Rewards components, with specific focus on increasing awareness, understanding, engagement, and adoption of programs and processes pertaining to employee benefits, compensation, performance management and recognition.
The role will work across multiple time zones to consult with various leaders and project teams on communications strategy, develop communications plans, and manage the creation, approval, and distribution of deliverables, independently or assisted by additional resources as needed.

  • Consults with project teams and senior leaders to understand international HR communication needs for managers, team members and HR. 
  • Provides overall communications consultation and support. Work closely with business partners to develop and implement comprehensive communications plans, including goals, objectives, key messages, and strategies. Work includes writing, editing, and publishing communication deliverables. Comprehend and distill complex language into easy-to-understand communications for internal, international audiences.
  • Monitor and identify industry communication trends and best practices to promote ongoing evolution of engaging and innovative team member communications, while aligning with core company brand and writing standards..
  • Ensure communications and processes meet international regulatory and legal requirements. Work with legal and language service providers as needed to comply with legal and regulatory translation requirements.
  • Collaborate and align as appropriate international communications strategies with enterprise and/or U.S. communication strategies.

  • Experience developing, leading and executing communications plans and strategies.
  • Experience providing communications support for complex projects with a significant role in business strategy. 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in HR with exposure to a variety of disciplines including change management, benefits, compensation, recognition and performance management. 
  • Champion of diversity with understanding and experience communicating to a diverse global employee population.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field. 
Fluent in English
