The BIC role will provide critical operational support to the activities of the team, assuring efficient and effective day-to-day functionality.   The role is primarily focused on the execution of agreed plans, projects and initiatives across the Independent Risk management group and critical partnerships across the platform support groups and LOB’s. 
 
(Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required)

Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate the development, preparation and consolidation of ad hoc and regular reporting as required.   Assure reporting deliverables are met on a timely basis.
  • Support the IRM Business Continuity Plan manager, ensuring the plan is updated and communicated to leadership.  Ensure BCP processes in place including up to date call cascades, adequate DR arrangements such as seating at DR venues and use of alternative sites.
  • Staffing: Support the processing, hiring and on boarding of new and transferring team members including:
    • Process and track all recruiting, offers and hiring activity
    • Maintain up to date records of staff levels and activity
    • Manage the on boarding process including desk and system access, equipment, welcome materials and training (FTE and contractors)
    • Maintain records and ticklers on contractors
  • Track all budgeting and expense management activities including the processing of all contractor payments, management of cost centres and updating of budgets throughout the year.  Coordinate any submissions required for budget purposes in close conjunction with the Risk COO and senior management.
  • Review and support risk finance related projects/activity across the platform.
  • Projects: Support the implementation of projects in region.  Maintain an inventory of projects and supporting documents (including all SOWs), other project managers and any other Risk related projects and initiatives of the group.  Coordinate the completion of SOWs.  Facilitate any resource needs required for projects.
  • Advise across change management initiatives and develop a cross functional network across the platform.
  • Support and oversee processes for effective COO Team administration (e.g. documentation storage, archiving).
  • Develop metrics and tracks/evaluates performance of programs, services and initiatives. Providing oversight and ensuring programs adhere to appropriate policies and regulations.
  • Support the strategic planning process for the RCRO group.
  • Support office moves with EMEA COO Office.
  • Liaise with critical support partners in performing duties including but not limited to HR, Technology, Finance, Corporate Properties Group, COO office and Supply Chain.  Escalate any issues that cannot be resolved to senior management.
  • Coordinate activity across the RCRO teams.
  • Coordinate activity with the EMEA BCE team.
  • Support IRM interaction and activity with the BCE group and platform as required.
  • Carry out all other duties as may be reasonably required.
