Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company’s financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company’s shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

The Business Support Consultant 3 consults with management and business partners on matters of significance regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities
for the applicable business functions. Consultation includes discussion of alternatives and implications.

The BSC 3 presents to executive management on business performance and recommends strategies to implement changes and improvements.

Utilizes thorough knowledge of the business unit's functional area or products to support strategic initiatives for the business.

Provides work direction to lower level staff.

Leads support functions and/or operations/production oversight usually for multiple business groups within a Line of Business.

 Functions supported may include:

  •  Policy/procedure administration and adherence, Systems/change initiatives
  •  Business continuity planning
  •  Legal and regulatory adherence
  •  SLA negotiation/development
  •  Reporting and analysis
  •  Project funding, pipeline, process improvement (example: may include downstream training initiative identification and enactment)
  •  Quality management
  •  MBO development
  •  Communications
  •  Financial control/budgeting oversight (example: monitoring business expenses)
  •  Team member processing (example: planning focal review)


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services



Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Project Methodology (EPM)
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Experience with process mapping tools such as Tibco, Visio, Visio Pro, iGrafx or IBM Blueworks Live
  • Knowledge and understanding of Clarity
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: used in waterfall or Agile development projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies: process improvements, continuous improvement, or LEAN
  • Project Management Institute Certification (PMI)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis for data-driven process-related improvements
  • Ability to identify and evaluate trends, isolate root cause, and provide swift/thorough resolution
  • Knowledge and understanding of Six Sigma methodology



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with iGrafx mapping tool preferred
  • Six Sigma certification preferred

  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time



Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
