The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Consumer Credit Card, Retail Services, Consumer Deposits, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. The Business Support Consultant 4 will provide Business Process Management (BPM) and oversight for the Emerging and Digital Payments Team within the Cards and Retail Services (CRS) division.  This is a highly collaborative role that will be focused on executing BPM Policy requirements, driving improvement and streamlining processes, critically challenging operational controls in the areas of risk and compliance and maintaining the Emerging and Digital Payments process model inventory.  The successful candidate for this role will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong continuous improvement skillset, be highly organized and detail-oriented, demonstrated ability to collaborate, with strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills and be able to think outside the box in adapting emerging product frameworks to existing models.

The role will engage with PVSI, Risk, Compliance and Controls Leadership teams to review existing process controls, establish new controls and to manage escalations as needed.  This role will also be expected to drive line of business awareness of the common Business Process Management methods, techniques, and tools.

**Preference for role to be located in one of the posted locations; however, consideration will be given to candidates across the Wells Fargo footprint.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services

Desired Qualifications

  • 4+ years of mobile payments experience
  • Experience with mobile product development or management with an emphasis in card payments
  • Knowledge and understanding of credit card processes and systems
  • Knowledge and understanding of process definition and re-engineering
  • Knowledge and understanding of process flow or procedure writing
  • Knowledge and understanding of process management
  • Experience with skills documentation including creating process flows, risk mapping, and anchoring

  • Ability to identify risk factors and ensure enactment of appropriate controls.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, meeting tight deadlines, independently and in a timely fashion

  • Effective communicator, with the ability to clearly articulate consumer credit insights to peers, senior leaders and stakeholders
  • Exceptional analytical skills and strategic thinker that can extrapolate learnings, trends, and opportunities to mitigate issues and identify areas for improvement.
  • Self-starter with the ability to plan, execute, and manage projects effectively
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment.

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

DE-Wilmington: Min: $100,900 Mid: $144,100
