Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s more than 70 million global customers.

The team member will assist the Information Security Manager in a variety of responsibilities associated with large enterprise efforts like the Enterprise Patching Program (EPP), Configuration Management Program (CMP), Vulnerability Management Program (VMP), and Asset Management Program (ITAM). He/she will serve as an analyst responsible for managing the schedule and operation of our processes and controls. The team member will participate in broad strategy discussions regarding the implementation of EIS patches or efforts to mitigate risks for products, assist in facilitating day-to-day process issues, act as an escalation point, serve as a vital link between the engineers, and Relationship Managers. Engineering and Services has doubled in size from 496 team members to nearly 1,000 team members by the end of 2019. This has increased the number of products we support as well as the number of vulnerabilities and configuration items we must manage. The focus and intensity from the enterprise has also increased creating the need for a role that ensures we meet compliance to our controls, keep them current and evidenced,  and our staff trained with complete coverage for our EIS Program.



Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • 2+ years of information security experience
  • 3+ years of process definition and documentation experience
  • 1+ year of patch management experience
  • 2 + years of experience communicating system vulnerabilities and remediation guidance to both technical and non-technical personnel



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Experience resolving and working through escalated and complex issues



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Ability to translate complex technical documentation into standard templates and common business language.
  • Must have some experience with Information Security tools and processes, e.g. cyber security
  • Manage multiple competing deliverables within the Information Security acting as a liaison between Engineering teams and Project teams.  Developing reporting and process related to software, hardware, and oversite for operational process and controls.
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring commitments are completed within scope and deadline
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large datasets and summarize results in excel – 5+ years
  • Must have experience with a large multi-phased effort to remediate and document work effort within working groups for a large organization. 1+ years
