Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company’s financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company’s shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

Senior Consultant to the Business Line and enterprise functions responsible for complex financial and economic analysis and model development. Uses specialized financial functional knowledge of complex financial products, pricing implications, regulatory standards, financial performance metrics to design, build robust models and complex non-model quantitative tools that supports strategic decision making. Advises senior management on business strategies based on analysis of performance metrics, trends in population distributions, predictive scenario modeling and other complex analysis to maximizes profits and asset growth and minimizes operating losses within the risk and other operating standards.  Translates regulatory defined stress test scenarios into model parameters, evaluates results of stress test results and interpretation of model output and advices senior management on course of action. Involved in the design and implementation of database structures/software tools in support of effective data sourcing strategies. Responsible for performing activities related to creation, implementation, documentation, and on-going maintenance of financial models. Leads implementation of complex projects/initiatives impacting one or more lines of business. Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and may support implementation of key risk initiatives. May directly or indirectly lead others.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: analytics, reporting, financial modeling, statistical modeling, finance, or accounting; or a BS/BA or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or Business and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: analytics, reporting, financial modeling, statistical modeling, finance, or accounting
  • 2+ years of leadership or management experience
  • 3+ years of SQL or SAS experience
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Access experience
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Excel experience
  • 3+ years of financial industry experience



Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Financial modeling experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • 3+ years of mortgage industry experience
  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive level communications
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
