Human Resources develops and implements our “team members, candidates, and operational” strategies to support Wells Fargo’s business objectives. As a Strategic Analytic Consultant within Team Member Insights, you will operate as a Human Capital Consultant supporting either a HR Center of Excellence or Line of Business Consulting team.  You will develop analytics strategies that are customer-centric to answer questions, guide decisions, and improve the effectiveness of HR teams in supporting Team Members.

Working cross functionally you will build consensus to implement your strategies and solutions in iterative and incremental ways.  You will draw insights from across our research, predictive, and reporting services to deliver stories that are rich in data visualization and drive clients to take action.  You will be a leader and hands-on with supporting and advocating for your clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify research, predictive, and measurement strategies for assigned clients.
  • Consult with your client on the data they present and communicate; lead in utilizing data visualization best practices to tell stories that drive both engagement and action.
  • Influence clients to integrate data into decisions and build acceptance of tools, programs, and services.
  • Create and scope projects that shape new analytics products or services.  Develop and represent client analytics roadmaps, manage complex multi-stream and long-term analytics programs, and advocate client interests.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of data visualization
  • Business intelligence experience
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives
  • Ability to present results of analyses and recommendations to senior leaders

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Human Capital Analytics domain knowledge, including ways to apply analytical approaches, technical solutions, and self-service tools in consulting.
  • Proficient in influencing  senior leaders through relationship building, executive presence and concise communication skills
  • Experience in SQL, R, or Python 
  • Utilization of BI Tools such as Oracle BI and Business Objects, and Tableau.
