Position Summary: The WMS Manager will be leading an implementation team of WMS Specialists during the deployment of Oracles Cloud Warehouse Management System (WMS) across the BBU shipping and warehousing operations. As such, he/she will work on the change management of each implementation site by partnering with local leadership and the Project Manager to coordinate all the testing and training activities of key and end users, as applicable. The WMS Manager will also document and communicate progress and change requests related each implementation. In short, the WMS Manager is responsible of a successful implementation of WMS at each site his/her team is implementation and of taking the lessons learned of each implementation for a faster and effective rollout.

Once fully implemented, the WMS Manager will be responsible for corporate administration of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensuring it is providing maximum effectiveness to all warehouse operations in BBU while working with all levels of the organization, providing WMS related training and support for questions/issues.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Fulfill role of WMS knowledge expert for warehouse management system implementation through all project phases from requirements gathering/analysis through go-live support and hypercare.

Assist with the gathering and analysis of customer and operational requirements and partner with shipping and DC operations management to translate these requirements into a solution design.

Participate in integration meetings with technical teams to help determine specifications relative to integration mapping and product configuration.

Assist in the development of test plans, data, and cycles to ensure that all requirements identified in the requirements gathering phase will be validated.

Provide leadership, guidance, and training/knowledge transfer to a team of supporting implementation resources to ensure stability of the project during and after initial deployment.

Participate in on-site implementation and customer interaction to ensure delivery of business requirements.

Ensure that appropriate tools/processes are leveraged and effective communication and support is provided throughout the process.

Document any new applicable functional requirements as necessary for enhancements to core products to meet scope of proposed solution.

Train and mentor team associates on solutions and best practice in support of implementations and continuous improvement.

Help define, monitor and analyze WMS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
