Position Summary:

This roles primary mission will be to identify, investigate, rapidly test, and educate the organization on concepts and technologies that may disrupt the baking industry.

This role is on the Corporate Strategy and Development team, which is part of BBUs new business unit, Acelerada.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Areas of exploration include, but are not limited to, the following:

• New Sales Channel Exploration. Investigate and test opportunities in new and emerging sales channels, i.e. Vending, Voice Ordering, Meal Kits, and Subscription Boxes.
• Application Development. Leverage new digital applications to unlock sales opportunities or improve operational workflows. This could include applications, skills (e.g. voice ordering), and/or bots.
• Supply Chain automation and systems. Actively investigate new supply chain solutions and platforms. Building strong third-party relations with all technologies/solution providers that may disrupt the baking supply chain, including automated distribution, and block chain technologies.
• Crowdsourcing. Utilize existing third-party relationships and foster new relationships to test the capabilities and impact of crowdsourcing on BBUs business.

The associate will also identify and frame future areas of exploration.
