The Walmart/Sam s Club Team Customer Executive is responsible for executing strategic/tactical annual and trimester plans developed by Walmart/Sam s Club Sales, Planners, Category and Shopper business leads. Also developing relationships with Walmart Division Leadership via store operations to advance brand initiatives in conjunction with sales / merchant strategies or in direct support of approved Business Unit objectives. This position is also responsible for the communication of customer plans and results by specified geographies and store groups; both internal and external.   Oversees Customer field level penetration/selling.    

Key Job Responsibilities Externally:

  • Establishes trusted partnership with Senior Level Walmart/Sam s Club Store Operations Management Teams to the advancement of BBU Brands Share Growth. (Div./Reg)
  • Conduct Semi-Annual T2T reviews with Division Level Leaders at Walmart/Sam s Club
  • Time in market cultivating Mid-Level Relationships with Walmart/Sam s Team Manager Customers, connecting with Walmart/Sam s Regional VP s to Grow BBU Brand Share
  • Sharing category consumer insights provided by local team, with key Walmart/Sam s store operations decision markers towards the advancement of BBU Brands  
  • Execute programming communication with Store Operations Walmart/Sam s Leadership.
  • Gains large scale display authorization and secondary display support for all new products, sales programs, seasonal support etc ¦
  • Maintains and regularly updates analysis of key competitors activities and their impact on BBU categories on a market-by-market basis.  (Market Intelligence Frequency a must)

                Leverage market relationships to stay informed about Walmart/Sam s Total Store Competitive landscape predominantly food, but total box and e-commerce as well.


Key Job Responsibilities Internally:

  • Maintain trusted advisory position with BU leads specific to all aspects of Walmart/Sam s Club operational alignment towards strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the Walmart/Sam s Manager Customer Field Teams in the development and implementation of a call matrix to ensure quarterly reviews are conducted with all Senior Level Walmart/Sam s Store Operations Management (Market, Regional, Divisional).
  • Develop & publish projected and post audit scorecards.
  • Learn and educate BBU DSD teams specific to continuing advancement of various e-commerce programs.
