Description:

The Senior Sales Analyst will provide support with business unit level presentations, reporting, modeling and analytics for the Intermountain leadership team. This position will own standard financial and KPI reporting on a regular cadence as well as have the opportunity to develop new models and enhance existing files to best meet business needs. The role will also conduct ad hoc analysis, project work and business unit organizational task support as needed.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Execution of standard and ad hoc BU reporting

    • KPI Performance reporting

    • Excel and reporting ERP model enhancements

    • Ad Hoc Analysis

    • Reporting support for Commercial, FP&A and Supply Chain Finance as well as Sales Planning functions

    • Provide insights into materials created to guide end users

  • Presentations and Meetings

    • Create presentation materials with functional partners to support variety of BU Leadership meetings

    • Strong attention to detail to ensure professional appearance and formatting of documents

    • Ability to coordinate and consolidate materials from multiple functional sources coordinating teams to meet deadlines

    • Works to create quality work product that is consistent, accurate and formatted to avoid errors

    • Streamline the contents and data in a coherent and accessible way.

    • Coordinate meeting needs with BU leadership as needed including scheduling details as well as on site attendee needs

  • Organizational & Operational Tasks

    • Assist BU Leadership team in general office activities as needed

    • Lead BBU associate and community engagement projects

    • Act as a resource/liaison among BU and submarket leaders, departments and functions

  • Sales Planning Function Support

    • Pricing

      • Internal pricing audit responsibilities and retail planning function support

      • Standard pricing reporting and analysis

    • IRI standard reporting and analytics

    • Forecasting, demand planning model for select categories working with multiple BU functions

  • Finance Functional Support

    • FP&A

      • Standard reporting support

      • Period close support to ensure P&L accuracy

      • Retail outlet P&L generation

    • Commercial Finance

      • Price/Volume/Mix analytics

      • Standard reporting including

        • Costs score carding

        • Labor distribution modeling

        • T&E, ZBB and discretionary

        • Submarket P&L creation

    • Supply Chain

      • Standard reporting support

  • Support BU leaders across functions with ad hoc analytics and reporting requests as needed.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science or Business-related field preferred. Advanced degree a plus.

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years in Financial, Operational or Sales Analysis roles.
  • Shown track record of data analytics, modeling.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency, specifically in MS Office with emphasis on PowerPoint, Excel, and Word programs.
  • Experience working with large transactions databases across multiple platforms.

Preferred

  • CPG or Food industry experience highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of IRI and pricing data.
  • Proficiency with Navigator, MicroStrategy, Oracle, Essbase and Margin Minder and other large reporting systems a plus.
