Performance Health is seeking an Operations Manager, Inventory Control to join our team. This role is responsible for overall operations in a growing distribution center environment. This role will oversee a multi-shift operation and manage all inventory transactions within the facility. This role will play a key role overseeing the cycle count program as well as year-end physical inventory.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily distribution center functions in collaboration with Department Managers and Site Leader
  • Hires, trains, coaches and mentors members of the inventory team
  • Provides supervision of 2 direct reports, 15-25 team members
  • Manages and oversees cycle count program as well as year end physical inventory
  • Monitors all material transactions for assigned area(s)
  • Responsible for identifying, resolving, and finding the root cause of discrepancies and other related inventory errors
  • Recommends changes that will eliminate or greatly reduce future inaccuracies from reoccurring.
  • Compiles and analyzes data related to inventory adjustments
  • Provides analysis and recommendations for inventory velocity slotting
  • Identifies negative indicators and performs root cause analysis to determine source of issue(s)
  • Performs regular component cycle counts as required
  • Performs inventory transactions and reporting on customer systems when required
  • Interfaces with all departments in the distribution center
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred
  • 5-8 years of management experience in a high-volume Distribution Center; must have a thorough understanding of inventory functions
  • Experience with utilizing warehouse performance, safety and efficiency metrics
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite ability including: Excel and PowerPoint
