The Global Category Analyst will provide marketing, reporting and analytical support for the Global Category/Brand/Product Management Team.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Leverage NetSuite, ProfitOptics, Focus and other internal databases and analytical tools to run reports, provide analytics on category, product and brand performance by segment and country
Works with category and product team on global category optimization efforts to improve cost basis, clearly define 'good better-best' and fill gaps within category
Acts as lead NetSuite and Profit optics contact
Works with commercial operations, purchasing, category, and product management to manage the global discontinuation process
Works with marketing teams to develop and deliver strategic presentations for internal and external audiences
Working collaboratively within the global marketing department to help define and drive marketing excellence
Build effective internal global company relationships with sourcing, sales, finance, operations, customer support, marketing and other cross-functional teams to successfully manage product life cycle
Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications
Bachelor degree
Prior experience in a marketing or sales analytical or support role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Products; Intermediate-Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, macros); PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical skills
Strong customer focus
Proactive self-starter
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team setting
