Job Description:

The Leidos Civil NISC III program has an opening for a Business Operations Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administrations Computer Aided Engineering Graphics Program Office in Washington, DC. The CAEG Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for:
  • Supporting the CAEG PO and Program Manager on projects and CAEG initiatives, including in areas of planning, development, and the implementation of systems and solutions.
  • Developing and monitoring project scopes and activities to ensure alignment with PO goals, requirements, and priorities.
  • Collaborating with team members to develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and problem solving.
  • Conducting research and coordination on actions and issues identified by the CAEG PO in support of the FAA TO.
  • Providing recommendations and resolutions to office records, databases, procurements, and files, and developing operational policies and procedures.
  • Participating in the design and preparation of briefings and special presentations.

  • Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience
  • Experience managing and coordinating multiple tasks
  • Experience participating in meetings to discuss project execution, schedules, technical performance, and providing recommendations for improvements, as appropriate
  • Experience providing recommendations and resolutions to office records, databases, procurements, and files, and developing documents pertaining to operational policies and procedures
  • Experience designing and preparing briefings and special presentations, and assisting in the creation of customized or special graphics, reports, and charts, to enhance communication effectiveness and mission support
  • Experience in organizing and gathering data, conducting analysis, preparing reports and organized documentation without assistance
  • Experience preparing and reviewing financial projections and planning
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to conduct research on specified topics in order to draw and present conclusions in a logical and concise manner
  • Ability to plan, delegate, organize, set timely goals and achieve measurable results
  • Ability to work as a part of a specialized team that handles various aspects of CAD, BIM, drafting, Document Management and other systems and solutions
  • Ability to develop monthly and quarterly status reports, which outline ongoing and completed program management highlights

  • Knowledge and experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Management (BIM) tools
  • Master's degree
