CER, A 501(c)(3) NON-PROFIT, FOCUSING ON BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, IS NOW HIRING FOR FULL TIME CASE MANAGERS. Must be available 8am to 4pm Monday-Friday. This is a full-time position.  We are hiring for "Field Case Manager" and "Clinic Case Manager." Field Case Manager requires a car, Clinic Case Manager does not. As a private nonprofit agency working with the homeless mentally ill population, we are Mission-driven and our employees are motivated by the desire to help those who need it most. 

REQUIREMENTS:  For Field Case Manager, must have access to a vehicle and valid driver's license, clean driving abstract, and valid safety check. Top candidates will have experience in social work or working with SMI or DD populations, although for some positions we can train you without much experience. 

PREFERRED (not necessarily required): A minimum of a bachelor's degree with related coursework is preferred. At least 12 months of full-time equivalent experience (employment or volunteer) with any specialized population, such as the mentally ill, is preferred. Candidates who do not have these requirements may still be considered, depending on other experience in the social work field. 

FULL COMMITMENT: This is not a second job during the weekdays. Candidates must be fully committed full time to the nonprofit agency, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm. No On-Call is required. 

NATURE OF THE CASE MANAGER POSITION: The Case Manager helps the mentally ill integrate into the community using a Recovery Plan: Obtaining psychiatrist visits, medications, housing, substance abuse treatment, etc. Transporting clients is sometimes required. This is a flexible position in terms of structuring your own workday. For the Field Case Manager positions, never punch a time clock again! 

HIGH STANDARDS:  You have plenty of support from your supervisors and program managers. We are a small, close-knit agency and not a corporate giant. We expect that all our employees perform in a top-notch manner and give 110% percent daily. 

SUPPORT: You have support at your Treatment team meetings 2x per month, clinical supervision 2x per month, ongoing behavioral health training 4x per month, and meeting with Team Leader/Program Manager 1x per week. Licensed staff are available to consult at any time. 

BENEFITS: Agency pays for HMSA or Kaiser medical/dental/prescription health benefits. All clinical employees receive a monthly cell phone stipend and a one-time stipend to purchase a tablet device. Paid time off also available. Reimbursement for client expenses available. 


Insurance side: Pay ladder starts at $30,000 and ends at $36,000 (two to three years). 

State side: $40,000 to $50,000 (possibly more) based on Billable Hours.
