Our team is growing, and we are excited to welcome additional members to our team. This role plays a key part in generating revenue, building relationships with dealerships, and ensuring customer satisfaction remains top priority.

As our Dealer Services Rep, youll work with clients and our local operational team to ensure that all sales run smoothly. Youll work closely with the Field Sales Staff to ensure that client expectations are top of mind. Youll be responsible for promoting and educating clients on various products and services provided by Manheim.

Heres what youll be doing more specifically:

  • Represent the Dealer Sales Lane at the location on sale days —promotes Manheim services, accept, and solicits reserve numbers from Dealers
  • Work with lane, department managers, market sales team, and other stakeholders to ensure each vehicle crosses the auction block on sale day and or is posted on our online platforms
  • Work directly with clients onsite (at auction) and offsite (dealerships)
  • Champion all sale day preparations (pre/post activities) related to in-lane and online sales
  • Demonstrate professionalism, establishes new relationships with dealers and builds on existing relationships to facilitate client retention and growth
  • Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves client problems and issues; acts as a liaison when other departments are involved in problem solving
  • Assist with client care issues and respond to dealer inquiries, problems, or concerns
  • Educate clients on online platforms, Manheim services & products.
  • Provide assistance and training on platforms, if needed
  • Provide consultation to clients regarding setting of floor prices prior to every sale
  • Serve as the main point of contact for buyers and sellers
  • Organize vehicles staging and vehicle transport (pick-up and delivery) based on client request
  • Maximize the number of transactions on all sales platforms
  • Book and upload vehicles for dealers
  • Solicit inventory and offer additional services to all buyers
  • Identify sold units and facilitate transactions through completion
  • Work with manager to ensure a consistent and effective online and in-lane client experience
  • Walk vehicles for Dealer representative to ensure sale readiness
  • Review vehicles in sales line-up (both online and onsite), locates missing vehicles, and works with customers and operations team to ensure that vehicles are prepared for sale
  • Ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner
  • Address incoming phone calls and shared email
  • Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors
  • Perform any other task based on business needs

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years experience in an administrative role with client service exposure
  • Sales mindset, we need someone that quickly sees opportunities
  • Valid drivers license
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong sense of organization, with great attention to detail
  • Resilient to change
  • Comfortable with digital platforms
  • Basic knowledge with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
