The Graphic Designer will have the same basic responsibilities as the Digital Creative Specialist but will work on fewer key clients and will spend more time planning and coordinating our outside team of designers. This will allow them to learn and grow into a Creative Specialist. The creative department has a huge growth opportunity to become a money generating product in the coming years.

This role will be expected to help formulate (manage and document) the processes and workflows with the anticipated result of increasing capability to bring on more projects and exponentially grow this revenue stream with fewer error and less stress on the organization to accomplish our goals.

In addition, the Graphic Designer will fill a gap in our current state process to help ensure we are accurately managing our assets, designing compelling creative and fulfilling on campaigns as requested. They will also serve as a face for the department by attending client meetings, writing briefs and presenting in front of small groups. They will also help to educate our reps who are starting to sell creative by meeting with them and assessing their clients needs.

CREATIVE JOB DUTIES

  • Design, create and execute compelling and creative such as digital ads, landing pages, print materials PowerPoint presentations and other designs as needed
  • Adapt to clients brand guidelines to create consistent branding
  • Meet with clients to discuss and identify their creative needs
  • Attend brainstorms and offer compelling ideas
  • Works with Senior Manager to make recommendations to creative and other elements of ad campaigns and assets
  • Proven solutions-focused customer service skills

ADMINISTRATIVE JOB TASKS

  • Management of outsourced creative execution with various vendors
  • Support pre-sale needs (assists with, research gathering, in-house art design and speculative art requests, etc.)
  • Provide clear and detailed communication, including detailed briefs with CoxNext service teams execute digital campaigns accurately and on time
  • Manage client expectations through a high degree of follow-through and communication with customer
  • Troubleshoot advertising delivery and technical issues
  • Provides exemplary customer service to internal and external clients
  • QA/Optimization
  • Manage a large workload through a project management dashboard

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Assists with the management of special projects as needed
  • Learns new software to stay on the cutting edge and move the department forward

Qualifications:

  • Degree in advertising, graphic design or equivalent experience
  • Bachelors Degree is highly preferred
  • Graphic design/advertising design experience of at least 1 year; preference for 3 or more years
  • Proficiency designing with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate)
  • Experience with After Effects and Premier preferred
  • An online portfolio with compelling examples of advertising, landing pages and other designs
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to adapt to new vendors, systems and software quickly
  • Must be available to work between hours of 8:30 am and 6 pm
  • Occasional need to work minimal weekend hours or after business hours during the week
  • Ability to work collaboratively and creatively
  • Demonstrates problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure in a rapid change, rapid growth environment
  • Strong organizational skills
