Role Summary:

Responsible for implementing, developing, and leading the Device Financing strategy and Operations for Coxs Mobile business. Define, partner, create and implement the Device Financing program that will help deliver an exceptional user experience and optimizing the cost of financing activities for Cox. Provides leadership and strategy guidance for consumer lending and third-party risks including business, technology, compliance, and security. This position will be responsible for developing and managing a cross-functional, centralized Consumer Lending program to enable and drive risk management consistency. Facilitate Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Business Reviews and communication across operational groups delivering reports, analysis, statistics, recommendations, and program outcome in accordance with business and financial goals. Partners to ensure Cox adheres to any relevant regulatory requirements.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

-Directs the development and implementation of the Device Financing program to achieve financial goals of the Mobile Handset device portfolio
-Hires, coaches, and develops team members to continuously improve individual and team performance and capability.
-Leads functional assessments to identify areas for optimization of processes, tools, and operating model.
-Leads analysis of process efficiency and effectiveness, monitors performance across business loan portfolios
-Leads the researches, design, development, and execution of improvements in collaboration with Devices, Treasury, PMO, Product, Marketing, Sales and Operational Teams
-Regularly interprets KPIs to identify risks and issues
-Prepares for and facilitates executive readouts on status, results, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
-Organizes and manages team members roles and responsibilities to most effectively and efficiently achieve program goals.
-Leads test and control efforts when necessary to solidify strategic direction prior to an impactful change.
-Assists in policy development to support change initiatives.
-Leverages project and program management tools to effectively manage strategic programs.
-Applies quantitative methods of social science data analysis.
-Supports capability development within the delivery organization; including reviews, gap assessments and work to source and deliver strategies.
-Collaborate closely with key functional areas to ensure timely and efficient implementations
-Effectively communicate program and test results and performance analyses to functional team and senior management staff along with recommendations for improvement to future tactics and strategy



-10 or more years of experience required in related field (i.e. Consumer Lending, Business, Credit & Risk Management, etc.)
-Minimum of three (3) years of extensive experience in program management
-Minimum of three (3) years of experience in strategic and tactical process improvement
-Deep knowledge and subject matter expertise of the consumer lending lifecycle and overall business process, control, and risk exposure
-Experience leading the development of a centralized Consumer Lending program to consolidate risk management activities across impacted functions
-Skilled in collaborating with and supporting business areas with the implementation of consumer lending risk and control frameworks, policies, and procedures
-Strong knowledge of risk metrics and data indicators to inform business decisions and provide a holistic view of Cox Communications current risk profile
-Demonstrated success at managing large change initiatives and working effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
-Strong Risk and Compliance experience - consumer credit policies and decisions experience
-Deep understanding of Prime and Subprime lending experience
-Complex analytics experience
-Experience developing consumer credit products and credit strategies


-BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly desired (i.e. Business, Consumer Lending, Risk Management, Credit & Collections, etc.)
-5 or more years of experience in a management role or leading cross functional projects preferred
-Experience in telecommunications industry or other subscription-based business desired
