Cox Enterprises is looking for a Lead Enterprise Architect who will lead the CEI Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE). He/she will be the key contributor to the strategy and implementation of the CEI CCOE. He/she will work closely with IT and Business leadership to establish the cloud as a formal service in the organization. This includes enabling IT and business units with the capability to consume the cloud in a self-service manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Champion and lead the development, support, and continually improvement of the CCOE practice
  • Develop and drive the strategic roadmap for the CCOE
  • Partner with members of IT and business leadership teams to ensure that the CCOE strategy supports the business strategy and operations
  • Facilitate the integration of Cloud and Cloud governance into business strategic thinking, understanding business requirements and long-term strategy
  • Implement a strategic IT planning process for the Cloud that is integrated with the business strategy development process
  • Sustain and enhance the company's strategic objectives and align IT operations with business operations
  • Implement a risk management process to control risks related to the Cloud by using an appropriate framework for managing risk
  • Measure, manage and communicate performance of Cloud components to the business
  • Understand key IT trends, leading discussions regarding applicability of new technology as well as incorporating it into the overall development and delivery of the Cloud strategy
  • Enable Cloud Services and IT to add value to the business, mitigating risks and incorporating IT into the business processes in a secure, sustainable manner
  • Implement an information security strategy, including an information security management system in accordance with an appropriate information security framework as applicable to the Cloud technologies
  • Oversee, manage, and report the financial investment and accounting of Cloud technologies and services
  • Review cloud services to ensure compliance to policy, proper ownership, and standards
  • Ensure continuous learning programs are established

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems or related field
  • 10+ years of work experience with technology solutions development, deployment, and enterprise architecture
  • 5+ years of work experience with Cloud based technologies and operations including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • 3+ years of work experience leading and/or being an active member of a CCOE
  • Experience partnering with Cloud Service Providers
  • Experience partnering with wide variety of business and IT levels
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with customers/clients
  • Must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality
  • Ability to use models and architectural frameworks to identify relationships between business objectives, processes, and technology capabilities
  • Experience in Business and Technology Consulting
  • Strong communication skills for creating and sharing presentations to multiple levels of stakeholders
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of leadership
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and with a team
