Have you worked on innovative testing experiences in a fast-paced DevOps environment? Are you looking to evolve an organization by providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and automation frameworks? We are looking for someone with Test Architect experience who knows what it takes to drive efficiency and automation throughout the software testing lifecycle. The candidate will have deep knowledge of Test Architecture capabilities and DevOps trends, prior experience contributing to and managing test delivery, and working in an agile environment with cross-functional teams who work together.

The Strategic Architect is a hardworking, intelligent problem solver that has a strong natural curiosity for resolving barriers & meeting customer’s needs. You will manage contract resources and influence others within the Enterprise DevOps organization in order to achieve efficiency, automation, agility and standardization across testing teams. The Strategic Architect understands, believes in, and drives DevOps processes to deliver excellent service to our partners. This role will serve as an advocate that enables cross-company initiatives and transformation rollouts.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Hands on knowledge of technology products and automation frameworks
Coordinate third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of Technical Services DevOps services
Provide team direction for DevOps testing within the SDLC process
Participate in and drive peer to peer knowledge sharing and technical sessions to help drive upskilling and share best practices across the organization
Innovate in the following areas: AI in test automation, CI/CD pipeline test automation, Test design workshops across teams
Proactively identify opportunities to streamline process, increase efficiencies, and align across teams with regards to test management and governance via Test Management Office
Ensure consistency & accountability with documentation and governance in application of delivery methodologies
Provides DevOps consulting services and drives automation and efficiency through standardized test processes, best practices alignment, reuse of framework and scripts across multiple teams within the Technical Services department
Drive automation across each life cycle stage and across layers of architecture
Be a subject matter expert on DevOps best practices
Maximize strengths of the teams and develop strong, collaborative relationships across ED&O and boundary partners
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Coordinate on/off-shore contract resources and collaborate across internal teams on delivering solutions
Support teams on setting up testing frameworks and QA best practices into the release pipelines

Qualifications:

Minimum:
7+ years’ experience with development, delivery, or support responsibility
Experience supporting Agile Scrum / Kanban teams
Ability to effectively communicate with peers, and supervisors, and to work cooperatively in a team environment
Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment, deadlines, and priorities
Ability to balance multiple high priority projects 
Proven communication, influencing, documentation, and presentation skills
Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Solid technical background, with hands on extensive experience with DevOps tool chain and processes
Excellent soft skills such as: interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization
Collaborate with architects, engineers and development teams

Preferred:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology or business information systems or related field
Experience working in all aspects of SDLC management
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and simple language
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Proven ability to take initiative
Operates with complete latitude for independent judgment
Innovates new and unique approaches without guidance from others
