Our People Analytics team is looking for a new Reporting Analyst to partner with our customers to provide reporting, metrics, and dashboards to drive decision-making. This person will find the innovative solutions between HR technology, Business Intelligence, and the business that turn data into knowledge. This role will shine a light on our vast data repositories to create real value.

 

The role doesn’t require a strong Human Resources background, but rather the curiosity and consultative skills that make for an exemplary advisory partner.


What You’ll Do

  • Put on your entrepreneurial hat and partner with customers to understand their strategies and identify opportunities for process improvements and new and creative solutions.
  • Guide customers in their quests to understand and measure their organization better by selecting meaningful metrics, interpreting data, and translating it into actionable recommendations.
  • Leverage the latest reporting technology to develop sophisticated dashboards that delight customers while providing thought-provoking insights.
  • Collaborate with our All-Star Analytics team to implement reporting changes based on analytic insights and operationalize predictive analytics models.
  • Make an impact on the business by identifying and reducing data errors, thereby improving the quality of all downstream reporting, analytics, and processes.
  • Provide recommendations to a variety of customers and partners, including HR Business Partners, HR Leaders, Talent Management, Learning and Development, HR Information Services, Talent Acquisition, business leaders, and more.
  • Develop reporting from data blended from multiple sources to help customers find answers to questions they haven’t even thought of.
  • Contribute to a dynamic and open team – we thrive on ideas and unconventional thinking.
  • See everything through a “customer experience” lens to find ways both big and small to make our solutions even more valuable to our customers.

Qualifications:

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Human Resources, Marketing Research, Behavioral Economics, Data Science preferred.
  • 1+ years working knowledge with reporting and analyzing data from complex business systems or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong sense of design aesthetic.
  • Experience creating meaningful data visualizations.
  • Tech-savvy with a penchant for early adoption.
  • Ability to combine and transform data to facilitate reporting and measurement, and communicate those results to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools: Tableau, OBIEE, PowerBI or similar reporting tools.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills preferred; experience with Alteryx or other ETL tools a plus.
  • Experience with agile software development and/or design thinking a plus.
  • Experience with cloud human capital management systems (Workday, Oracle Cloud HCM, SAP HCM, etc.) a plus.
