The Clutch team comprises experienced entrepreneurs, technologists and car enthusiasts. Clutch Technologies is a Cox company headquartered out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Overall Responsibilities:
The Regional Sales Director (RSD) position is an outside sales role primarily focused on direct selling, but may have some channel management sales opportunities. The RSD will manage all aspects of the sales process for both direct and indirect opportunities, with a primary focus on closing opportunities. There will be internal and external lead generation support as well as any other third party or channel relationships. The RSD will carry a quota and generate a portion of their overall on-target-earnings from commission. To be successful in this role, the RSD will possess the ability to quickly acquire the following knowledge and skills and will have demonstrated the ability to perform the various tasks and responsibilities listed below.

Specific responsibilities include:
• Contacting automotive dealers, brands or OEM’s in a territory to introduce the program to key decision makers
• Ability to manage a pipeline with multiple accounts and partners
• Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partner potential through sales best practices, training and support
• Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with key decision makers
• Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
• Attending and participating in sales meetings and trade shows
• Accurately keeping track of all communication and details about sales activities with schools in Saleforce.com
• Speaking at association meetings, district events, and technology conferences
• Traveling to meet with opportunities within a geographic region

LOCATION
The ideal candidate will be located in the Mid Atlantic states including TN and Kentucky.

Qualifications:

• Must have 5 years of outside sales experience where 100% quota was attained in at least 4 of those years
• Ideally have 5 years of direct sales experience in either automotive or technology (SaaS)
• Successful achievement of closing relatively short sales cycle (90 day) deals each month
• Experience/Knowledge of the automotive industry is a plus
• High School diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
