As a Merrill Central Supervision Business Support Manager you will have a leadership role and work closely with other Merrill Central Supervision leaders, business leaders, operations owners, control partners, and technology executives to define, solution and implement supervisory routines driven by regulatory and business requirements.  Specific functions may include: Personnel processes, audit/compliance, premises, and coordination of certain projects, associate training, service quality, process improvement, business continuity and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Aligning stakeholders and managing the messaging and buy-in

·       Maintaining an oversight framework to provide visibility to executive leadership on the status and delivery across the program

·       Consults with senior management in evaluating current methods and developing strategies to implement changes and improvements

·       Financial control/budgeting and consolidation

·       Understanding of the supervisory requirements of financial advisors

·       Process transformation and redesign related to a very large, complex department


·       Thorough knowledge of the department or business units’ functional area or products

·       Firm understanding of the supervisory requirements of financial advisors and/or skills related to execution delivery

·       Working knowledge of general bank policies

·       Working knowledge of programs and procedures

·       Firm understanding of financial/accounting practices
