Job Description:
Quantitative Operations Manager for Life & Specialty Servicing (L&SS) responsible for managing a team of forecasting/capacity planners. The team is responsible for analyzing data, partnering with the business to generate best in class outcomes, and helping the team innovate, drive, and develop modernized (algorithm based) forecasting/capacity approaches while partnering with our Model Risk Management team to keep L&SS in compliance with the firm’s modeling policies.
Required Skills:
- Management Experience
- Ability to lead people and manage priorities across a large organization
- High aptitude for self-motivation, self-determined project work, strong aptitude for problem solving and collaboration
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Data Analytics
- Fundamental understanding, and experience with Linear-Regression/Time-Series/Statistical Modeling, analysis of operations environments focused on improving results, optimizing decisions, or resource planning
- Data visualization and storytelling through presentations at an executive level
- Communication and interpersonal skills: specifically the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to key stake holders
- Intellectual curiosity and drive to answer important business questions and improve results
- Statistical modeling using SAS/R/Python or other similar tools
- Data Mining Experience using SQL/SAS
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in in Mathematics/Statistics/Applied Economics/Operations Research/Advanced Analytics, or like experience

This role focuses on the development of operations/data management policies, strategies and operational guidelines for the organization's various financial products as they relate to the analysis, tracking, and reporting of various risk metrics. This role often possesses an advanced degree in physic, applied mathematics, statistics/probability or another heavy quantitative discipline. Quantitative analytic staff is focused on and responsible for the development of the theory and mathematics behind various models. Manages a team and reports to Quant Operations Exec
