Job Description:

Quantitative Operations Manager for Life & Specialty Servicing (L&SS) responsible for managing a team of forecasting/capacity planners.  The team is responsible for analyzing data, partnering with the business to generate best in class outcomes, and helping the team innovate, drive, and develop modernized (algorithm based) forecasting/capacity approaches while partnering  with our Model Risk Management team to keep L&SS in compliance with the firm’s modeling policies.

Required Skills:

  • Management Experience
  • Ability to lead people and manage priorities across a large organization
  • High aptitude for self-motivation, self-determined project work, strong aptitude for problem solving and collaboration
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Data Analytics
  • Fundamental understanding, and experience with Linear-Regression/Time-Series/Statistical Modeling, analysis of operations environments focused on improving results, optimizing decisions, or resource planning
  • Data visualization and storytelling through presentations at an executive level
  • Communication and interpersonal skills: specifically the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to key stake holders
  • Intellectual curiosity and drive to answer important business questions and improve results
  • Statistical modeling using SAS/R/Python or other similar tools
