Job Description:

Works with senior management and other team members to implement enhancements to reporting and analysis packages for senior management forums and committees plus the implementation of improved reporting and data mining tools and metrics. Ensures that the team produces regulatory and economic risk capital reports and data inputs respectively. Produces regularly scheduled reports including stress and back testing and responds to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests. May manage a small team of analysts or own key reports and or processes. Strong finance, risk or compliance background with quantitative skills preferred.

Line of Business Description:

  • Position within the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Enterprise Process Oversight (EPO) Reporting team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of reporting to support oversight and monitoring of overall enterprise health of the Bank of America AML Program. Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate across all lines of business to develop meaningful metrics and analytics, delivering insight at the executive level to drive business decisions.
  • Produce monthly AML Program Health Dashboard, including comprehensive view of metrics such as quality monitoring, issue management, third party management, compliance monitoring and testing, and other AML-specific topics such as account opening, refresh, and account closure.
  • Operationalize reporting routines and manage delivery of key reports on a monthly basis.
  • Responsible for working on multiple projects and priorities at the same time, including report design and development, analysis, and ongoing report production
  • Develop metrics for oversight and monitoring of program health related to AML risks – operating within the risk framework (responsible growth mindset)
  • Build, collaborate, and maintain relationships across enterprise (FLU and Control Function organizations)
  • Lead conversations and influence results

Required Skills

  • 3+ years related experience in Risk Management, AML, Data Reporting, or related field
  • Experience producing executive level reporting, complex enterprise reporting
  • Ability to rigorously and effectively examine large quantities of data and derive insights from these data sets
  • Ability to develop a conceptual vision from idea to final publication, to provide effective views for monitoring and oversight of an end-to-end process
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint (pivot table, VLookup, and formula creation experience in Excel; deck building experience in PowerPoint)
  • Experience developing visualizations in Tableau
  • SharePoint experience for data collection and list management
  • Ability to streamline data acquisition, experience in various ways to bring data together
  • Detail oriented with the ability to handle a variety of tasks and initiatives independently
  • Strong partnership and relationship management skills; ability to work across functions and organizational lines/levels
  • Strong written and verbal communicator with outstanding influencing skills as well as ability to manage debate and conflict
  • Exercise sound judgment while analyzing and interpreting data to ensure a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness for business leaders
  • Intellectual curiosity, strong analytical skills and financial/business acumen
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work, manage complexity and deliver solutions on tight deadlines

Desired Skills

  • 5+ years related experience in Risk Management, AML, Data Reporting, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (MIS, Business, Data Analytics preferred)
  • Understanding of the Bank of America Risk Framework
  • AML-related experience, and/or understanding of the AML environment at Bank of America
  • Previous experience in any of the business AML teams; or Audit, Risk and/or Compliance is preferred
  • Familiarity with data management principles and practices, including data access technologies
  • Experience working across business lines, conferring with managers and executives to gather requirements and specifications while developing enhanced data and reporting tools
