Job Description:

-Responsible for the Client Management of the Credit Card program for AAA Auto Club Enterprises (ACE), headquarted in Southern California, and AAA National Office interactions/communications.

-Responsible for negotiating contracts, ensuring contract adherence, new account marketing plan and execution, creative and channel development, Client compensation, and business control aspects in Direct Sales Interactions for managed Client.

-Accountable for P&L management for Client and products, written/verbal communication with C-level management within ACE and AAA National,  interaction with various marketing areas (internal and external)

-Serves as the business liason between the bank and ACE/AAA National.  Works to achieve successful business outcomes for all parties.

-Works closely with Control, Compliance, and Risk partners to provide responsible growth and support for the Cobrand business.

-Creative thinker who can provide innovative solutions to complex opportunities.

-Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously, with the band-width to absorb new responsibilities as required.

-A confident negotiator who has the patience to prepare, probe, and propose.

-Keen decision-making skills with the ability to influence clients through concise and focused dialogue.

-General understanding of contracts, direct marketing techniques, and Product P&L’s.

-Command of trends, opportunities, and threats within the Cobrand marketplace.

-An authentic leader with a profile built on courage, wisdom, trustworthiness, caring service, character, and a moral compass.

-Executive presence, as this position interacts often with AAA Club CEOs and Senior Management.

Desired Skills:

-A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a client management, business development, marketing, or strategy role.

-Ability to tell a story; a clear writer and persuasive speaker, with the mature deal-making ability to sell complex concepts.

-Natural grasp of how Affinity/Cobrand clients conduct their businesses and interface with the bank.
