Job Description:

The Wealth Management Policy Lead will lead efforts to identify fraud prevention opportunities and solutions for Debit, ATM, and Consumer Card Wealth clients. The candidate will be responsible for developing and documenting fraud policies across these card products.  The candidate will  be the primary point of contact to our product owners. The Wealth Management Fraud Policy Lead will also collaborate and partner with  key stakeholders in strategy, servicing, detection, authentication, and claims.

The responsibilities include:

  • Lead monthly fraud performance routines with Product and P&L Owners
  • Assist Product Owners with escalations, issues, and questions
  • Document and evaluate new and existing Payment Card polices
  • Support the implementation of business driven and enterprise initiatives
  • Partner with product owners, fraud strategy, authentication, operations, forecast, and claim stakeholders to drive improvements
  • Understand internal systems and processes to understand how they interact in order to identify opportunities to reduce fraud losses
  • Effectively communicate fraud performance/key metric updates to various audience levels
  • Ability to independently challenge the status quo, identify opportunities, investigate issues, and propose recommendations
  • Demonstrate strong ability to influence others

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 5+ years of fraud/risk management experience
  • Payment card experience (Credit Card, Small Business, Debit, ATM)
  • Previous management or individual contributor leadership experience
  • Previous project management experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Communication: ability to work with and communicate with all levels across the organization, leveraging advanced written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Organization: ability to deliver across a varied set of priorities, both planned and ad-hoc, and adapt within a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment and deliver action results quickly

Desired Skills:

  • Previous Wealth Management Fraud experience
  • Knowledge of SAS / SQL
  • Experience w/ application of the DMAIC process

Enterprise Description:

Lead cross-functional fraud initiatives; work with the operations, Risk Management, Fraud Analysis and Strategies, Investigations, and other partners within the bank to implement changes to better detect, deter, recover and/or prevent fraud. Document fraud policies and ensure adherence to fraud policies and communicate policies to relevant organizations. Understand and quantify risks associated with new or proposed processes or procedural changes, new products or programs. Implement and track key fraud portfolio and policy metrics.
