Specific Job Description

Role performs analysis and reporting on data and applications supporting the Company’s Compliance & Operational Risk Management program.  Data is gathered and compiled from various sources, then analyzed to identify key performance and/or data quality improvement opportunities reported to management and key stakeholders.  Additionally, this role actively participates in initiatives, providing key support to the timely and successful execution of data and report management deliverables.

Required Skills:

Ability to gather and analyze data, and create actionable information; capable working with large amounts of data

Ability to organize, plan, and execute work; set an end date, and establish milestones and tasks to get to end date (work breakdown) (Project / Process Management)
Highly proficient in Excel; strong Power Point skills; basic SharePoint development skills

Detail oriented

Strong communication skills – is comfortable with business and technical communications
Flexible and adaptable; able to quickly adjust to shifting work and priorities

Minimum Years of Business & Functional Experience: 2+
Degree Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

General Job Description

  • The Corporate Compliance & Operational Risk Specialist, under the supervision of the Corporate Compliance & Operational Risk Manager, demonstrates and applies subject matter knowledge to promote a culture of compliance and the identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks. The Corporate Compliance & Operational Risk Specialist contributes to the consistent implementation of the requirements in the Global Compliance & Operational Risk Enterprise Policies (“the Policies”), including, but not limited to, the following activities:
    • Supporting Corporate Compliance & Operational Risk Managers in maintaining and executing the Compliance Risk Management Program (“CRMP”) and Operational Risk Management Program (“ORMP”) for one or more of the following:
    • Regulatory Inventory/Regulatory Change Management
    • Policy Management
    • Risk Assessments
    • Quality Assurance minimum standard
    • Monitoring
    • Integrated Metrics & Analytics
    • Data Management, Governance & Integration
    • Executive Reporting
    • Ops Risk Capital & Losses
    • Technology & Tools
    • Assisting in the evaluation of the effectiveness of both the CRMP and ORMP within a LOB/ECF.
    • Maintaining and updating the Global Compliance & Operational Risk Enterprise Policies and related Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Supporting Corporate Compliance & Operational Risk Managers in driving consistent implementation of the Policies and related policies and standards.
    • Conducting analytics to support the aggregation and reporting of compliance data to enterprise governance committees, leadership routines and senior management.
    • Executing processes in support of Corporate Compliance & Operational Risk’s accountabilities within the CRMP and ORMP
