Line of Business Role Description

Responsible for leading the Capacity and Resource Management function supporting all Consumer Banking Products.  Manage the effort of 20+ associates in Collections & Enterprise Fraud-Operations Enablement, supporting 7,500 + employees in the division across 10 + sites. 

  • Responsibilities include using data and analysis to produce monthly forecasts over a 3 year period for Fraud and Billing Dispute Claims, Delinquent and Charge off Customers totaling over 2MM.
  • The leadership of this group will include managing and projecting the businesses' productivity, resources, work segment and site work allocation.  In addition, producing quarterly Stress Test scenarios and mitigation plans to ensure business readiness for changing economic conditions.  This role is required to work closely with Model Risk Management (MRM) to ensure proper performance documentation and other Front Line Units to understand influences of their operations on our end to end customer processes.
  • Close collaboration with organizations across the enterprise such as Loss Forecasting, Finance and Model Risk Management as needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Strategic initiatives include establishing greater use of technical tools to automate data needs for the forecast process and increase the speed of producing forecasts and simulations.
  • This role requires the ability to drive responsible change in the division where the implementation of multi-million dollar investments occurs throughout the year.  Focuses on enhancing segmentation, increasing automation, improving loss performance, business efficiencies, and maintaining controls.
  • Excellent analytical and management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Ability to create innovative solutions, utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes. Require strengths influencing others using empirical information to drive business transformation. Will need to work with Finance, HR, MRM, Front Line Units, and Technology partners regularly.

Required Skills: 

- 5+ years leading the efforts of others at all levels of leadership

- 5+ years of proven analytical, finance or capacity management experiences

- Strong ability to communicate across all levels (Verbal and Written)

- Experience working with other key partners

- Organized, plan structured and control oriented approach to management

- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

- Demonstrates deep problem solving skill

Desired Skills:

- Working knowledge of SAS/SQL/R/Python

- Experience Automating processes      

- Proven project management solving skills
