Job Description:

Collections and Recovery Operations Enablement develops strategies that help our customers through difficult times while mitigating losses for the Bank.  As part of that organization, the core responsibilities of the Intraday Planning & Optimization team revolve around inbound call forecasting and resource optimization in support of credit card, deposit, vehicle and home loan products.  The Consumer Product Strategy Manager position requires determination of key priorities for their team while also providing analytical and technical guidance to analysts to drive project completion. Key functions involve developing forecasting methodologies, identifying business trends based on economic and portfolio conditions, and executing strategic enhancements. Manages the team's analysis focusing on call forecasting, resource optimization, customer behavior analysis, portfolio trends, and demographic performance. Responsible for conducting interviews, training Consumer Products Analysts, and guiding all aspects of project development. Communicates business trends, creates financial assessments and interprets analytics for senior management. Proven experience at developing technical skills of their team. Sound knowledge of SAS / SQL, financial statements, and business processes required. The Consumer Product Strategy Manager must also be able to develop recommendations that consider research and analysis, the regulatory framework, and competing strategies.  The manager must then utilize communication and influencing techniques to build consensus among senior leadership and drive implementation.  

Manages a group of analysts that are responsible for performing strategic analysis to improve portfolio risk, profitability, and operational performance for a specific business segment. This position requires determining key priorities for their team while also providing analytical and technical guidance to analysts to drive project completion. Key functions involve developing asset quality monitoring, identifying business trends based on economic and portfolio conditions, and executing strategic enhancements. Manages the team's analysis focusing on criteria margins, model score use, forecasting, portfolio trends, and demographic performance. Responsible for conducting interviews, training Risk Management Analysts, and guiding all aspects of project development. Communicates business trends to senior management, creates financial assessments and interprets risk analytics. Sound knowledge of SAS / SQL, financial statements, and business processes preferred. 5+ years risk management experience preferred.

Required Skills:

- Bachelors Degree (prefer Bachelor of Science (Engineering, Math, Statistics, Finance, Sciences, etc.))

- 3+ years of quantitative analytics experience, including skills like data mining and statistics and within SAS, SQL, VB, Python, R or similar platforms

- 2+ years of forecasting experience

- Strong organizational approach with ability to track and balance numerous competing priorities

- Strong evidence of leveraging analytics to drive business results

- Skilled with MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint)

- Demonstrated ability to hold complex conversations with senior leaders and present clear and logical arguments and rationales

- Proven ability to deliver persuasive executive level presentations

- Strong leadership skills with experience leading, directing, and overseeing the work of others 

Desired Skills:

- Strategy management experience

- Collections and/or call center management experience

- Project management experience

- Call Routing experience (Genesys, Avaya, Aspect, IVR)

- Workforce Management experience – IEX preferred

- Experience working within the Bank's data infrastructure (BACARDI, The W, SQL Server, etc.)

- Experience with business case development/financial statements

- Experience with process design/redesign (ex. Six Sigma, Engineering)

- Advanced Degree (MBA (Operations preferred), Industrial Engineering, Statistics, etc.)
