Job Description:

DAIT Solution center is seeking a Senior Hadoop Data Analyst / Business Analyst with strong communication, interpersonal and organization skills, who will function as the central point of contact for all self-serve CSWT Data Lake & Data Bank - data ingestion and provisioning technology teams. The resource will partner with the architecture team, development teams, Hadoop infrastructure team to understand the self-serve technology solutions and be an enabler for the self-serve teams starting from the data lake onboarding to support them to implementation.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the development teams to understand the requirements, provide consultation of the self-serve technology stack/tools/capabilities, execution framework and estimation models.
  • Participate in data ingestion forums and/or lead the planning session and coordinate estimation efforts
  • Provide training on self-serve tools & technology frameworks to development resources.
  •  Facilitate Hadoop Onboarding of new applications and development teams.
  •  Oversee the development deliverables and reviews of the initiatives in accordance with delivery governance model
  •  SME assistance for self-service development teams on the frameworks

    Must have skills:

  • 5-10 years of data analyst experience with 2-3 years of big data experience
  • Significant experience in SQL and hands on experience in HIVE, Impala and Linux
  • Ability to provide training to technical and business stakeholders on self-serve reusable data ingestion frameworks
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization and presentation skills
  • Consistent track record of working independently, collaboratively and pro-actively with key technology/development teams, business partners and other stakeholders and influence others.
  • Proficiency in MS Office product suite
  • BS in quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Engineering or Data Science). Masters desired.

  • Reporting & Analytics or Data visualization tools ie., Tableau
