Essential Functions:

This is a senior sales officer position responsible for handling all aspects of client relationships within the Energy Management Services market. The desired Associate has expertise in originating, structuring, pricing and executing large, complex lease transactions. Associate is capable of working independently and leading an integrated deal team effort.

This position is posted as a Senior Leasing Sales Specialist, but is flexible to be filled as a Leasing Sales Specialist based on the skill set/experience of the candidate.

Required Education:

Bachelor Degree, minimum accepted; MBA preferred. Accounting, Finance, Math or other Business concentration preferred.

Prior Work Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years successful originations experience in multiple vertical markets; previous Energy Services Leasing experience or related industries required.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of project finance and/or structured finance type background strongly preferred.
  • Effective C-Level selling and relationship management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of tax-exempt, equipment lease/purchase finance including state statutes and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting rules, tax law, capital markets, legal/documentation standards and basic credit analysis.
  • Ability to simultaneously manage complex originations responsibilities and deal team efforts on multiple transactions.
  • Working knowledge of Energy Services industry, including standard and custom deal structures, technical applications, equipment specifications and regulatory or legislative requirements.
  • Existing or previous relationships with Energy Service companies (ESCos) or other ES vendors.
  • Exhibit Teamwork.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
  • Extensive travel – 60%.
  • Location – Southeast US: Charlotte, Atlanta, or Orlando preferred.
