Q: How do Employers/Advertisers contact a TAOnline Sales Representative?

A: To contact one of our dedicated sales and service representatives and to obtain our current fees for searching the resume database, posting jobs and general advertising, employers should complete the TAOnline Information Request Form. An auto-response page will be provided confirming successful submission. One of our sales representatives will a follow-up with a telephone call, usually within two hours. You will not be committed to any arrangements without first speaking with a sales representative.

Q: How do Employers post job ads, advertise or search resumes on TAOnline?

A: To post job ads, advertise or search resumes, employers should first complete the TAOnline Information Request Form. An auto-response page will be provided confirming successful submission. Q: How do Employers search the resume database?

A: After logging in at the Employer Login page, the user selects "Resumes" from the menu. On the "Resumes" menu page, select the "Search Resumes" option, then enter the search criteria. For example, using the TAOnline Search (demo) page, the user enters the search terms for their query. The search engine compares the key search terms with the indexed terms for all the resumes in the database and returns the ones with those specified terms, ranked from the highest to lowest number of "hits."

Q: I can't remember my Login and/or Password?

A: Please go to this page and enter the email address on your account and your username/password will be emailed to you. If you are still having difficulty logging in, then check with your TAOnline Sales Representative. If for any reason you cannot contact them, then please email the TAOnline Webmaster.

Q: How do I post my resume to TAOnline?

A: Via TAOnline's Resume Submission E-Form:
To submit your resume using TAOnline.com's Electronic Resume Submission Form, click here. For instructions or guidance on preparing an electronic (ASCII text) resume, refer to the Transition Information Center article, Writing ASCII Text Resumes.

Important Criteria:
Employers seeking to hire transitioning military service members and veterans prefer the following information: Current and Permanent Address; Phone/Fax No.s & E-mail Address; Geographic Preference(s); Availability Date; Security Clearance; Education & Training and Computer/Technical Skills.

Q: How will Employers searching the TAOnline database find my resume?

A: Once you have posted your resume to TAOnline, authorized employers to our service input specific skill sets for they hire. TAOnline uses an advanced, indexed-based search engine to provide our users with a sophisticated Boolean key-word and/or concept-based search.

In order to search TAOnline's resume database, employers must first have an account with us. We ensure that only qualified employers who have actual jobs have access to and use of our service.
