NOTE: TAOnline.com uses data from the official Dept. of Defense (DoD) Occupational Database (ODB) at http://www.odb.asmr.com/. The Military Occupational Title Database (MOTD) contains general, narrative descriptions of 152 joint-service military occupations. For example, the MOTD title, 'Communications Equipment Operator', represents communications equipment operator jobs across the five services. These MOTD occupations have not been revised by the Dept. of Defense since 1995. TAOnline.com uses the MOTD and MOCD titles and descriptions but does not add to or edit them, as that is the responsibility of the DoD. Some occupation descriptions may not exist yet, especially for Army Warrant Officers and USCG personnel (use similar Navy descriptions if appropriate.)
