Join us for a special hiring event for service members, veterans, and military spouses at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville. This event is being held in conjunction with VETS ROCK!, hosted by Til Duty is Done, and features a hiring fair, employment workshops, and networking opportunities.

All registered veterans and military families are eligible to purchase up to two tickets for them and their families to attend the Veterans Day VETS ROCK! concert featuring Godsmack with special guests, yet to be announced. You must be registered for the hiring event in order to be eligible for tickets to the concert.

Hiring Our Heroes Employment Workshop

This Hiring Our Heroes employment workshop is led by HR and workforce professionals and covers a variety of topics including resume building, networking, and interview tips, taking into account the job seeker's military background and lifestyle. Hiring Our Heroes digital tools are also integrated into the workshop curriculum. Immediately following the workshop, volunteer career coaches will help you develop an elevator pitch, participate in a mock interview, and create a more effective resume.

This hiring event is being hosted by Til Duty is Done and conducted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (DOL VETS), the Connecticut Committee of Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Goodwill Industries International, The American Legion, NBC News, and Connecticut National Guard, Solider for Life, other local partners.
