Hiring Our Heroes is hosting its first Wounded Veteran, Caregiver and Military Spouse Flexible Work Conference on March 4, 2015 at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. Many national employers such as Starbucks, Lockheed Martin, Bank of America, La Quinta Inns & Suites, USAA and others with work-from-home and flexible work opportunities will be in attendance.

These companies are prepared to meet with wounded veterans, caregivers and military spouses to discuss employment options at their companies. Attendees will not only have a unique opportunity to network with these employers, but also can participate in a workshop hosted by Four Block focusing on networking skills and improving job search outcomes.

Attendees will also be able to participate in an interactive panel on flexible workplace best practices. During the panel, attendees will hear from employers, Paralyzed Veterans of America, a flexible worker. Participating in the workshop and/or panel discussion is not required, but all attendees are strongly encouraged to attend. Light breakfast will be served during check-in.   11:30 - 1:30 p.m. Employer and VSOs engage with job seekers

• As a condition for attendance, employers must have positions that can accommodate flexible work schedules or remote work requirements. To ensure that all employers meet these criteria, you may be contacted by a member of the Hiring Our Heroes staff. Hiring Our Heroes has final discretion in all employer registrations.
